Interior House Painting

House painting is a job we usually reserve for a weekend. But when all the steps and tools necessary start to add up, painting your house can become overwhelming. Here is a brief overview of what painting looks like with NCR Pro-Painting.

At the beginning of our 1st day of work

The crew leader/Forman and painters are introduced to the customer.

We make sure there are no changes to the work to be performed and answer any new questions customer may have.

After furniture are placed
in the centre.

We will cover or mask surfaces that are nearby and are not to be painted, such as rugs, furniture, and personal items.

All floors are protected
with drop cloths.

Protection of surroundings

Outlet plates, vent covers, and other such hardware will be removed and reinstalled after painting.

Surfaces preparation and coatings applications.

This typically involves the following:

Applying first coat of the chosen coating.

Applying stain blockers to the stained areas such as water stains and wood knots.

Removing other surface contaminates, such as tapes, waxes and dirt.

Filling and repairing any nicks, gouges, cuts, nail holes, etc.

After the first coat has dried, checking the coating walls again for any missed deficiencies.

Sanding the wall surface again, if required. Applying the second coat to a uniform finish.

Checking the cutting line making sure the line is clean, straight and has solid coverage.

Checking the overall appearance of the finished surfaces, making sure the color is rich and vibrant, with no see-through spots or uneven areas

The job site will be cleaned daily, before the end of the shift. We will keep the premises free of any unnecessary accumulation of tools, equipment, supplies, material, debris, and such.

If the residents occupy the areas, each day the job site will be left in the same condition at the end of each working day that it was in at the start of the working day. A thorough clean-up will be done at the end of the entire project.
